The PADI Digital Underwater Photography course is perfect for divers who want to capture stunning underwater images and enhance their diving experience. This course introduces you to the art and science of underwater photography using modern digital equipment. Whether you use a point-and-shoot or a sophisticated DSLR, this course helps you take beautiful and memorable photos of your underwater adventures.
In this course, you will learn how to choose the right camera system, understand the three primary principles of underwater photography, and manipulate light to enhance the color and quality of your images. You'll also receive tips and techniques to improve your buoyancy and diving skills while handling a camera, ensuring that you can take great photos without damaging the marine environment.
Mastering underwater photography not only allows you to document your dives but also improves your overall diving skills. With the knowledge gained from this course, you will be able to capture and share the wonders of the underwater world, making each dive a unique and rewarding experience.
The course includes: the PADI Digital Underwater Photography eManual, internationally recognised PADI Digital Underwater Photography certification card, full equipment hire and boat fees, high quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors, tea, coffee, water and light refreshments on the boat, tea, coffee, water, Wifi and internet station use in the dive centre.
You are encouraged to use your own camera system on this course as it makes sense to learn with what you will use. This will give you greater familiarity and confidence with your own kit. If you are just starting out on this adventure and do not have your own camera yet then we do have systems for hire. Cameras are 1,500 THB for the 2 dives of this course.
