Small, large, or just awkward, there is a way to find things and bring them to the surface.

The PADI Search and Recovery Diver course is designed for divers who want to learn how to locate and retrieve objects from underwater. This course is both practical and enjoyable, teaching you effective techniques for searching and recovering lost items using various methods, including lift bags.

Throughout the course, you will master search and recovery dive planning, techniques for locating objects using different search patterns, and methods for using lift bags and other recovery tools. You will also learn how to conduct searches in limited visibility, making this course highly valuable for divers who want to be prepared for any situation.

The typical PADI Search & Recovery Speciality course schedule is completed in 2 days. Each morning will start with a knowledge development and skills practice session which will prepare you for the afternoon’s diving.

The course includes 4 dives but if you have completed a Search & Recovery dive during your PADI Advanced Open Water course then this can be credited towards your Speciality.

The course includes all the elements required for completion: your own copy of the PADI Search & Recovery Specialty manual, internationally recognised PADI Search & Recovery Specialty certification card, full equipment hire and boat fees, high quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors
